Partner
Courtney Schmitz is the managing partner of the SLP-McKinney Office. She is Board Certified in Family Law and Child Welfare Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization demonstrating her ongoing commitment to legal excellence. Courtney is a fierce warrior in the courtroom and a skilled diplomat in the hallway. She has a growing mediation practice where she is skilled in finding practical solutions for a simple divorce or a multimillion-dollar custody case, and everything in between.
Brenna Loyd

Brenna Loyd is the founder and managing partner of the SLP-Mid Cities office and has dedicated the past 12 years exclusively to family law, handling complex custody, property, and adoption cases. She not only offers strong advocacy for her clients but also provides mediation services as a qualified mediator. Recognized 11 years in a row as a “Top Lawyer in Fort Worth,” Brenna became a partner just two years after becoming licensed and has built a highly successful practice. Outside of work, she’s a devoted single mom who enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her daughter, family, and friends.
Natalie D. Paul

Natalie Paul is a partner at the SLP-McKinney Office. She is an experienced attorney who is committed to achieving effective resolutions and excellent representation in all family law matters including divorce, custody modifications and enforcements, CPS cases and child support matters.
